My name is Tia Marie, and I am the proud companion of 6 Tarantulas and a Hissing Cockroach (that came as a freebie from my local dealer.) I have looked around here, and see that a very good idea is in place- the more enthusiasts who do this, the better.
I like it here, so I’ma gonna get nice and cozy and start sending up photos and as many care sheets as I can find, so the next person who comes here looking will feel right at home.

I love tarantulas. I really like people who love tarantulas.

Hey everyone, my name is Brandon, I am 23, and I have had many creatures as pets and only recently got into tarantulas. Just under a year ago I was starting to get over my arachnophobia and now my girlfriend and I have collected 11 T’s and 3 scorpions. I love taking care of pets and am enjoying the T hobby a bit more than any sane person should, then again, when did I say I was sane?

This place looks pretty slick and hopefully it really gets going with members.

Hi all my name is Michael and I finally decided to join a group. My 13 year old son actually got me back into inverts after about a ten year hiatus. You know ,wife, job, kids. Well actually 3 kids and 2 jobs. I am a full time paramedic for a private company and also do highway construction work for my uncle. But anyway I have always loved spiders and crawly things , tarantulas in particular. I just picked up an A.Versicolor and an A.Avicularia. These are my first arboreals and they are truly fascinating! I also purchased a Cyripoagopus sp. “Singapore blue” from Ken “ The Bug Guy” . The little squirt is as fascinating as it is aggressive. I guess my main focus in this hobby is to teach my kids the responsibility we have as hobbyists to promote captive breeding and to protect these wonderful creatures.

Well finally made it here ....looking forward to another invert site .
The name is the title and yes my REAL name lol
I have been breeding tarantulas since hurricane Andrew in Florida. My first was a wild cought Vagans from Ft. Pierce. Since then I have bred many species, reptlies as well. I also am a mod of another great site called ALIEN
My interests are my Family , all things living smaller than a poodle [yup inverts and herps] and weightlifting[great stress reliever]
I do the Taylor Michigan show every month to sell-trade slings.
A lot of people look at this hobby as a way to make some loot....yeah that is all fina and dandy-for those people. I look at this hobby as a total blast, in other words this stuff is fun.
I have been throwing stuff in webs since I was a kid and believe it or not I still do.
So that being all said, thanx for the pleasure of being a part of another site

My name is Dave and I have been keeping herps for a long time. Within the past two years I have gotten into invertebrates, and even more recently I have gotten into tarantulas. I currently am mainly dealing with centipedes and mantids.
